14 Weeks to go...

...until City to Surf.

I did a longer run on Sunday - 10.09km in 1:05:10 @ 6:25/km pace. As usual, I went out a bit quicker than I should have done, then paid for it in the last couple of km... dropping down to over 7:00/km by the end. But good to have run 10km and good to have run for more than an hour - some psychological achievements there! I must concentrate on keeping an even pace next time.

I was in Brisbane yesterday, so a 4.30am start just to get to the airport, so thankful it was a rest day from running.

I got out for a run this morning. I usually easily fall into an Easy run pace (about 6:00/km). About 6km is the typical distance. This morning, I just ran without worrying about the watch too much. I ended up finishing 6km in 33:17 - so that's 5:33/km pace. That felt pretty good!

So I'm feeling like I've slotted back into the running groove fairly well. I'll brush the dust off all my good ideas for training routines from last year - and actually put them into practice!
