I'll have to put last week down as a rest week in preparation for a big step up (hopefully).
I think I only ran on Tuesday. I was just too tired yesterday to get out and up to Brisbane twice during the week took it's toll too.
But I did feel good about getting up and out this morning - especially as it was miserable drizzly weather.
So 6.07km in 34:54 at 5:44/km pace was a pleasing result. Hopefully I can have a couple more runs like that before a longer effort next weekend. Then I should start introducing some harder sessions.
I can probably predict a bit of disruption to training during the World Cup. A few late nights / early mornings should see me exhausted for most of those 4 weeks.
