Yesterday was a bad day in the office. Having to deal with dick-heads brings out a degree of frustration in me!
So having missed yesterday as a running day (I felt pretty dead at 5:45am when the alarm went off, so I reset it for 6:45am in time for work) I was determined to get out this morning.
No problems getting the bed off my back today! I headed up the hill with no real plan, but kind of assumed I'd cover about 6km at about 6:00/km pace. I didn't take too much notice of my watch, but this mornings run turned into a good way to unload the frustration from yesterday.
I pushed on a fairly fast pace (for me!). Ended up finishing 6.09km in 33:08 at 5:25/km pace. Nothing fantastic and I did feel knackered by the end of the run, but good to have a) got out for a run; b) kept a fairly even pace; and c) ended with no soreness, strains etc.
Must get a longer run in at the weekend.
