I reckon that was the coldest day of the year so far. Even at 8.30 I saw it was 6 deg C, so at 7am - when I headed out for the run it was probably a degree or two colder.
Consequently, it took a while to get to a comfortable pace. Ended up with 7.65km in 41:07 at 5:22/km pace.
I could see where the heavy rains and flood water had flattened the vegetation along the creek. I hope nobody was walking around there when all that was going off!
I'll see if I can get out tomorrow and Friday too. That'll make today an extra session this week due to not having to head to work as early as usual.
