Feeling Great at 38...

Yesterday was full of treats:

Birthday cake at work - apparently an Australian tradition, I've certainly never had that before. It's amazing how a bit of free cake brings new colleagues out of the woodwork!

Then I got home to find the dining table set for a crowd. The in-laws all came for dinner - 13 in total, including the 3 kids. Roast ham, spuds and veggies with a tiramisu birthday cake for afters.

A couple of little pressies and I've also asked for a long sleeve running top which we'll get this weekend (it is getting colder here).

So aren't I lucky?

Thanks to those who sent cards, photos, notes etc.

No run this morning - Wednesday is my rest / cross-training day, although tonight's usual squash will no doubt be replaced by Cubby House work.

And the Cubby House base is still in place, despite torrential rain last night attempting to wash away the concrete footings. Hopefully the rain will start to ease now ready for a big push at the long weekend.
